International Convention on Quality



Representatives of the Military Quality Control of the Material Resources Sector and other sectors of the Ministry of Defence spoke today at the International Convention on Quality – JUSK ICQ 2014, which was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

On that occasion, within the panel dedicated to improving the quality in the defence industry, a group of authors led by Colonel Ivica B. Marjanovic presented the papers "The importance of standards in the process of modernization of arms and military equipment", "Designing the system of management in terms of shaping the mission, vision and development strategy in the defence industries and overhaul facilities of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces", and "Planning and execution of procurement: the practice of defence industries and their subcontractors".

In the follow-up of the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Tomislav Djordjevic spoke on behalf of the authors, to the participants in the gathering on "Review and improvement of the process of training for Internal Auditors", and then the paper "Optimal quality for the purpose of operational success of the defence industries" was presented.

The aim of the international conference is to provide an international forum for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, research results and information on various aspects of the situation, development and application of QS, IMS and TQM of business excellence.
