- Our duty is to preserve the memory. We cannot bring the lives, but we must keep the memory of the people who are innocent victims and spread the knowledge of what happened 15 years ago and what injustice and damage were inflicted on Serbia. Hoping that something like that will never happen again to us, we will mark this date every year, because although these are mourning days for us today and we are suffering major disasters, we will strive to preserve the memory of all those who gave their lives for the country working honestly and fairly, so that we can live in peace today and be able to defend it – Nikola Nikodijevic said.

Dr Dragisa Misovic Clinical-Hospital Centre was bombed on 20th May 1999, 50 minutes after midnight, and seven soldiers and three patients were killed in the attacks. Those who were killed are Alexander Bajin, Goran Verezan, Predrag Ignjatovic, Branimir Krnjajic, Slavisa Veljkovic, Vojin Pejcinovic and Dragan Tankosic, as well as patients of the Clinical-Hospital Centre, Branka Boskovic, Zora Brkic and Radosav Novakovic.
