Handover Ceremony at the Ministry of Defence commences
At yesterday's meeting, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia elected new Government of the Republic of Serbia. The newly elected Minister of Defence is Bratislav Gasic.
In accordance with the Protocol on the Handover Ceremony in government administration bodies, the handover of duties between Nebojsa Rodic, current Minister of Defence in the technical government and Bratislav Gasic, the newly elected Minister of Defence commenced at the Ministry of Defence today.The handover will take the next few days, after which the Handover Protocol will be signed.
Nebojsa Rodic has performed the duty of a Minister of Defence since September 2013.
Bratislav Gasic was born in 1967, in Krusevac. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics.
He was a Member of Parliament until 2012, since when he has been performing the duty of a Mayor of Krusevac. He was declared the manager of the year of the city of Krusevac in 1998.
He speaks Greek and English.
He is married and has three sons.
