Conference on Projects of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces

In the House of Guard in Topcider, the Conference on "Development of the Directorate for Project Management and Presentation of New Projects of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces", which was attended by foreign military representatives and representatives of international institutions and funds, has been held today.

Welcoming the participants, Zoran Djordjevic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, speaking on behalf of the Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic, said that the gathering was an opportunity for representatives of that ministry to present what they have done in the previous year, but also what was planned for the next period when it comes to projects.

- There was the Directorate for Projects in the Ministry of Defence before, but it was not visible. We have gathered a team of young people, led by Director Proda Secerov, a man with extensive experience and knowledge in this very area – State Secretary Djordjevic said, thanking to the assembled representatives on their help and donations, expressing his belief that this cooperation will be expanded.

Proda Secerov, PhD, Director of the Directorate for Project Management, presented the structure and tasks of the directorate that he run, pointing out that its mission is to provide a project management service of the defence system.

Continuation of the meeting was devoted to presentations on the importance of individual projects for the defence system, which was approved by the European Commission in the framework of TAIEX in 2014, and the project that was approved by the Kingdom of Denmark. Projects of the Military Medical Academy and the Military Academy, as well as projects in the field of energy efficiency have also been presented.
