Delegation of the Defence Inspectorate visits Algeria



A three-member delegation of the Defence Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, led by Major General Goran Radovanovic, Inspector General, visited NDR Algeria from 24 to 27 February in expert visit to the General Inspection of the People's National Army of that country.

According to General Radovanovic, the visit was realised according to the plan of the international military cooperation of the Ministry of Defence, and its aim was the continuation and deepening of cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries and the implementation of controls in the defence.

- The aim of the visit was fully accomplished. During the stay in NDR Algeria, our delegation had the opportunity to share experiences in the implementation of the inspection with the delegation of General Inspection, and the whole visit passed in a friendly tone. We had the status of a highest level visit, which shows the great respect of associates from Algeria towards our Ministry of Defence, the Inspector General said.

General Radovanovic talked to Major General Benatou Boumediene, Inspector General of the People's National Army of NDR Algeria and his close associates. During the year, the return visit of the delegation of that North African country is expected.
