Minister recieves the delegation of th Association of Descendants of Warriors 1912-1920
Defence Minister Nebojsa Rodic met today with a delegation of the Association of the descendants of warriors Serbia from 1912 to 1920. President of the Union Ljubomir Markovic thanked the Minister of Defence for receiving them and on this occasion he was acquainted with the work and history of the League , the activities of possible joint cooperation in the celebration of the jubilee of the Balkan Wars and the First World War , the area of media support for the work of the association, as well as other issues relevant to the work Union.
Minister Rodic stressed the importance of the anniversary of the First World War and the participation of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces during this and the next four years in the planned activities at home and abroad . He recalled the previous traditionally good cooperation with the Association of the descendants of warriors Serbia from 1912 to 1920 and the possibility of further expansion of cooperation in fostering the tradition of Serbian liberation wars , as well as the need for active engagement in finding and marking of military memorials , monuments and places of the fallen warriors of this period .
The representatives of the association presented to Rodic a testament of the warriors of liberation wars of Serbia and Montenegro from 1912-1918.
