Signing protocols on the donation by the Kingdom of Denmark



At the Department for International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia two protocols on donations were signed for the projects entitled "Electronic archiving of personal files of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces" and "Establishment and equipping of the Psychology Department and establishing a psychological test centre for the selection of flight personnel".

Protocol on Donation for the project "Electronic archiving of personal files of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces" between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Norway and the Kingdom of Sweden, was signed by the Head of Personnel Department Brigadier General Dragoslav Lackovic on behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and Retired Colonel Kurt Refsgaard on behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Brigadier General Lackovic thanked for the 44,000 euro worth donation, which will be used to create an electronic archive of the files of employees in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces including the former JNA members. He stressed that the donation is a gesture of friendship and a substantial support to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the former members of the Serbian Armed Forces, who will now be able to quickly and easily solve their status issues. This project is of particular importance to the members of the military from the territory of Former Yugoslavia, whose service was terminated in the past.

Protocol on Donation for the project "Establishment and equipping of the Psychology Department and establishing a psychological test centre for the selection of flight personnel" was signed by the Nada Markovic, Head of Department for Development of psychological activities of the Human Resources Sector on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and Retired Colonel Kurt Refsgaard.

The Kingdom of Denmark is one of the major donors to the Ministry of Defence, which has considerably improved the intensity and quality of cooperation between the two ministries. Both sides also asserted that the relationship between the two ministries today is not only a partner one, but also a friendly one.

During the stay of the Retired Colonel Refsgaard, further modalities of cooperation in the field of psychological activities, logistics and preparations for the conduct of military exercises will be discussed.
