Serbian citizens trust SAF the most



Sociological research in Serbia, in the past several years, according to the citizens of Serbia, except for the Serbian Orthodox Church, have greatest confidence in the Serbian Army as an institution.

According to the newspaper "Nedeljnik", the latest research suggests that the Army enjoys the greatest trust of the citizens of Serbia of them (74 percent). The Serbian Orthodox Church and other religious institutions are in second place (66 percent). Thirdly, the EU institutions (43), the legal system, (38), government (35) and the media (41). Research agencies "Gallup", according to "Nedeljnik", compared to us, showed that the citizens of the United States also trust their Army, 76 percent of them, while the police and entrepreneurs are before religious institutions.

On a scale of trust and value, as confirmed by numerous public opinion polls in the last decade, a the Armed Forces of Serbia, which boasts the duration and reputation among the people has a solid place. Despite the abolition of military conscript’s duty which served as a link between the people and the army, its reduction, the defense system was able to maintain the image of a reliable national institution.
