The concert repertoire was the music from the film “Montevideo, Bog te video“, one of the most watched films of the Serbian film industry in the last 20 years, the music being written by the Slovenian composer and recorded with our ensemble.

The art ensemble performed under the baton of the conductor Major Igor Mitrović, with the band that normally backups Manjifiko. A special guest was vocal singer Luz Kasal, a Spanish diva and star of the film “High Heels“ of Pedro Almodovar, who together with Manjifiko and Ensemble recorded the songs for the second part of the film “Montevideo, Bog te video“.

At the concert, Manjifiko presented his new album released on 15th October, which contains the film songs as well. This is the second time that the Ensemble “Binički“ and Manjifiko play the music from the film in front of Slovenian audience. Last year, they had a performance on the main stage of the Lent Summer festival in Maribor.
