Info regarding sending recruits to voluntary service



In the September the plan for sending recruits to training centers envisions 560 candidates for voluntary military service (500 candidates in training centers and 60 listeners are to be sent to Reserve Officer Course).

3,295 candidates applied for voluntary military service under arms and (3,060 candidates applied for the training center of the Army of and 235 candidates for the reserve officers’ course).

503 candidates were sent and 503 responded to the call to do voluntary military service under arms , which is 100.6 percent of the operating plan.

3 students of Military High School signed up for voluntary service as they did not succeed in enrolling the academy. Voluntary military service under arms is a prerequisite for them to be sent to a course of training for non-commissioned officers of the Army of Serbia .

61 candidates (one more than envisioned by the plan) were sent to the course for reserve officers and all responded to the call to sign up for voluntary service

As for the percentage of women among recruits 66 women were sent and responded to the call ( 48 in the training centers and 18 of course listeners reserve officers ). Women's participation in voluntary military service under arms is 11.78 % according to the plan.

Preparation and implementation of the September deadline for sending recruits was carried out as planned, with the active involvement of MoD department for mlitary obligations, regional centers and local government.
