Commendations for the organization of the Day of the SAF
Serbian Army Chief General Ljubisa Dikovic presented today honors to institutions and individuals who have helped the successful organization of the Day of the Army, on 20 April in Krusevac.At the proposal of the Central Command of the ceremony, the Great plaque was awarded by the Serbian Army to Radio and Television of Serbia and the city of Krusevac. The SAF GS plaque was awarded to Veselin Grozdanic, director of the central event broadcast, while the CHOD thanked the Police Department of the city of Krusevac.
Addressing those gathered, the Chief of General Staff said that the Serbian Army Central ceremony in Krusevac, showed that citizens can respond to the challenges and tasks set before it.
- That was our goal, we have made it possible with your help, to our satisfaction and the people who run this country and to the satisfaction of the citizens of Serbia. I want to thank, first of all, the people who are not in the Army, for their the great contribution; to RTS for its professional completion of the task, the city of Krusevac, the mayor and his staff, and the citizens of this great city, who made it possible that all goes well .
Expressing hope that "they will come together around the same task next year," Gen Dikovic said that the situation in the army always reflects the state of the country.- With great efforts by all members of the Army of Serbia, we were managed to be one step ahead, for which I express my congratulations to all those who have contributed to it - said General Dikovic.
Thanks for the recognition, Veselin Grozdanic said that he was still a boy, when his father, an officer of the JNA, taught him the importance of trust.
- I thank you for your trust deposited in RTS, especially because the results of our collaboration are best felt by the citizens of Serbia feel. We wish you much success in your work, and we be there to keep track of your success- as the director of the event in Krusevac said.
General Dikovic commended and awarded members of the Army of Serbia for special contribution to the successful organization of the ceremony.
The following have received commendations General Vojin C. Jondic, Chief of FS Operational Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Dejan Petkovic, from Mixed Artillery Brigade and infantry echelons of the River Flotilla and the Guard together with the flag platoon of the 4th Brigade.
The following have received award Colonel Dejan Golubovic, the Army Command, Colonel Zeljko Gavrilovic the Guard Chief of Staff, Colonel Zeljko Obradovic, Military Police, Colonel Sinisa Kresovic, commander of the Krusevac garrison, Lt. Col. Velibor Mekic, air force command, Major Dejan Puskarevic the River Flotilla.
