Visit of the representatives of the Directorate General for Armaments of France



A representative of the  Directorate General for Armament (DGA) of France Frank Lefebre visited the Department of Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence. The visit was hosted by the Military Quality Control Department of the Material Resources Sector.

At a meeting with a guest from France the topics of discussion were the role and method of functioning of the quality control process equipment, repair and modernization of armament and military equipment. Director of the Military Quality Control Lieutenant Colonel dr Ivica Marjanovic presented the principles and criteria of military control and stressed the importance of applying laws and regulations in the process of accepting and introducing new weapons and armament systems

Frank Lefebre and French military Attache Colonel Fabris Dida were presented the newly opened room on occasion of the Serbian Army Day in the military facility dealing with quality control along with the range of products produced by the defense industry of the Republic of Serbia, in which the audit process included military control quality.

Representatives of the  Directorate General for Armament s(DGA) from France were received the Assistant Minister for Material Resources Jasminka Todorov. She acquainted Lefebrea with high acceptance criteria posed by the Material Resources Sector, which includes the department for military quality control. Assistant Minister of Defence informed the guest about the identification of all relevant aspects and quality control of the military and the measures taken to increase the level of training of personnel and improve the capacities of infrastructure. Another topic was the renewal of accreditation by the Accreditation Body of Serbia, as well as expanding the scope of accreditation of the entire Integrated Management System IMS.

Frank Lefebre expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at all levels. Both sides expressed the desire to continue and expand cooperation.
