10th extraordinary session of defence university's Senate
At the chancery of the University of Defence the 10th extraordinary session of the Senate of this institution was held today. The session was chaired by the President of the Senate, the Rector of the University, Lieutenant General Prof. Dr. Miodrag Jevtic, along with the Chief of the Military Academy, Major General Prof. Mladen Vuruna and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Military Medical Academy, Brigadier General prof. Dr. Miodrag Colic.The agenda of today's meeting was related to the adoption of the minutes of the ninth regular session of the Defense University’s Senate, where candidates were chosen for the positions of teaching assistants, were elected and reelected to the positions of associate teachers, and the choice of the position of full tenured professors at the University of Defence.
According to Chancellor Jevtic, today's meeting was convened in order to meet with members of the Senate candidates, hear the opinions of expert council and to vote on their choice. He also pointed out that the process of candidate selection was done made with respect to the rules and standards prescribed by the statute of the university.The fact that the defence university has been recognized as an important institution within the Ministry of Defense identified testifies task of drafting the Law on Education in the defense system, which has been entrusted to us, for what we have already taken initial steps, because we are aware of its seriousness - said General Jevtic.
At the meeting of the position of teacher - assistant professor at the University of Defence selected Col. MD Janko Pejovic, assistant professor in the subject of medical biochemistry, Col. MD Dusan Mileusnic assistant professor of radiology, Lt. Col. Dr. Nenko Brkljac, assistant professor in the scientific field of logistics system, andPhD in pharamcology Snezana Djordjevic, assistant professor in chemistry.
With regard to the second item on the agenda at today's meeting, Brigadier General prof. Bojan Zrnic, was re-elected as an associate professor in the scientific field radar technology, Col. Doc. Novak Stamatovic who was elected to the position of Associate Professor of Oral Medicine, Paradontics while. Dr. Evica Dincic was elected to the position of Associate Professor of Neurology. In the final part of the session Professor Goran Kilibarda ws elected to the highest position in the university, a full tenured professor in mathematics.All decisions regarding the selection of candidates for teaching positions at the Military Academy and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Defense MMA members of the Senate have been unanimously passed.
