Reception of newly promoted lieutenats in the Training command
Commander of the Training Command Brigadier General Dusan Stojanovic today hosted a reception for the youngest lieutenants in the House of Guards in Topcider where, in addition to the commander, members of the minister’s staff also attended the ceremony.
Welcoming the youngest second lieutenants general Stojanovic said that units of the Training Command will get motivated and knowledgeable staff that will contribute to the future development of operational capabilities of establishments.
- As platoon commanders you will get the support of senior colleagues, but you will be left alone before the alignments. It is necessary therefore to take advantage of the knowledge gained from the military academy, to be leaders and to set an example for the people you will be training. We expect that their professional relationship will significantly contribute to the realization of the most important tasks of the Training Command - individual training of professional soldiers and soldiers on voluntary military service. Personal preparation, elaboration of methodical training and professional approach to the execution of tasks are essential prerequisites for good performance of obligations that await you in your first duties – as general Stojanovic said.
Deputy Commander of the Training Command Colonel Marinko Pavlovic informed the youngest second lieutenants about the organization, structure and tasks of the Command and subordinate units. After a break of several days, the newly appointed lieutenants will go to Pozarevac, for a two-week course, and then are sent to their respective units where they will assume their duties.
