Foreign DAs visit the Museum of the Yugoslav Air Force
In the organization of Department for International Military Cooperation of the Defence Policy Sector and Air Force Command, foreign military representatives accredited to the Republic of Serbia visited the Museum of the Yugoslav Air Force in Surcin today. The visit was organized as part of activities marking 100 years of the Serbian aviation.
Head of the Museum Lt. Col. Jovan Ukic and Air Force museum director Predrag Grandic wished DAs a warm welcome followed by a tour of the permanent exhibition.In the course of the visit the DAs were acquainted with the history of development of the Serbian military aviation from its inception to today. DAs’ interest was sparked by a variety of aircrafts used in our armed forces as well as the traditionally high level of cooperation with other countries in aviation.
Finally, guests were offered refreshments and commemorative gifts were exchanged. President of Belgrade association of military attaches thanked the hosts for their hospitality and visit expressing hope that this cooperation would continue
