Military sports camp at Kopaonik



Third International Military Sports Training Camp "Kopaonik 2012" which is held from 15 to 30 August brought together members of the armed forces from the region to compete in traditional military disciplines.

Athletes of the Serbian Armed Forces, the armed forces of Romania and Slovenia to train together athletics, orienteering and martial arts on daily basis at 51"Kopaonik” training ground.

Camp Leader Colonel Dragan Djini from the Military Sports Section of the Military Academy and athlete Sennior Sergeant Goran Cegar are trying to make stay in Kopaonik for their colleagues from the Slovenian and Romanian army as interesting as possible, so the martial arts podium turns into a "dance" podium for dance classes. In addition, early risers can start the day after an hour of yoga in the fresh mountain air.

Kopaonik, according to guests from foreign armies, offers excellent conditions and favorable climate for summer preparation in these sports, and they all agree that training is always better when there are many competitors as this is also an excellent opportunity for an exchange of experiences.
