Chinese delegation visits the MMA
Delegation of the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China, led by Deputy Minister of Health and Commissioner of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Guoqiang Wang visited the Military Medical Academy. The Chinese delegation is paying a several-day visit to the Ministry of Health of Serbia.Deputy Chief of the Military Medical Academy Col. prof. Dr. Dragan Dincic conveyed his satisfaction that such a high level delegation had visited the Academy. He said the MMA was open to all forms of cooperation, and that past practice has shown that the combined application of traditional Western medicine and alternative medicine give excellent result. Guests were shown MMA facilities in the area of treatment, scientific research and education, with special emphasis on the Medicine Academy.
Deputy Minister Guokiang said that it was a great honor for them to visit the Academy as top medical facility at the start of the official visit to Serbia, immediately after his meeting with the Minister of Health. Particular satisfaction was emphasized by the fact that traditional Chinese medicine was used by the MMA thanks to doctors who have completed specialization in China.
Chief of the Military Health Care Department Colonel prof. dr.Zoran Popovic stated that the Ministry of Defence has good cooperation with the Chinese Ministry of Defense under the Agreement on Defense Cooperation signed in 2008, and that both sides were particularly interested in cooperation in the field of military health care.During the visit, the delegation of China had the opportunity to visit the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Center for Hyperbaric Medicine.
