Cadets Filip Milojevic and Milina Miletic buried



Cadets of the Military Academy Filip Milojevic and Milina Miletic, who died in an accident at the training ground "Pasuljanske livade", were buried yesterday with military honors at local cemeteries. Honorary platoons fired salvos as paying last respects to the killed cadets.

Cadet Filip Milojevic was buried in the village of Gornja Trnava in Topola. Besides family members, relatives, many residents and cadets of the Military Academy, the funeral was attended by Serbian Army Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Ljubisa Dikovic with his associates, chief of the Military Academy Major General Mladen Vuruna, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Igor Jovicic, the mayor of Topola Dragan Jovanovic and representatives of local authorities.

Those present at the funeral lit candles, a military academy cadet recited a poem he wrote, stating that "the pain they feel can burn through a stone".

On "Hill of Peace” in Milanovac, Mina’s last farewell, besides her loved ones, friends, colleagues and fellows from the Military Academy, was attended by Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac, Deputy Chief of General Staff - Major Milan Bjelica, the envoy of the President of Serbia Milorad Simic, as well as senior officers of the Ministry Defense and the Army of Serbia.

"You shall live with us, little ballerina, in the ranks and at your favorite places where you used to go out. We will remember your whispering from the first desk to the window, for the donuts you used to make, for ham and cream from Rudnik and the star on the shoulder, which you did not have time to tattoo, even though you were eager to do so, as cadet Miljana Prstojevic said, adding that all colleagues would forever remember Mina for her goodness.
