A lecture to the Royal College of London attendees



The commander of the Army of the Serbian Army Major General Milan Mojsilovic held today in the Vranje barracks "Prvi pesadijski puk knjaza Milosa" a lecture to the attndees of the Royal College of Defence Studies in London.


General Mojsilovic acquainted 16 attendees of the King's College, from 11 countries, with the area of responsibility, organization, structure and tasks of the Army. The lecture was attended by leader of the college study tour through the Balkans, retired Major General Sebastian Roberts.

The students of the Royal College of Defence Studies in London paid a visit to the Republic of Serbia from 17 to 23 May and during that time held several important meetings in the Foreign Ministry and Interior Ministry, while in Patriarchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church, they were received by the Serbian Patriarch Irinej.

The meeting with Secretary of State for Defence Tanja Miscevic and meeting with the Serbian Army officers who had attended King's College London were especially important to them.

During their stay in Serbia, students visited the factory "Zastava Arms" in Kragujevac, industrial facilities across the country and the cultural-historical and tourist sights, such as Sremski Karlovci, and monasteries on Fruska Gora and Kopaonik.

The Balkan study tour for the students of the Royal College of Defence Studies in London includes a visit Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece. The goal f the tour is to get a realistic picture of the security and political-economic aspects of the situation in the region which would serve as a basis for the preparation of final papers through a meeting with relevant representatives of these countries.
