Members of the 210th Engineering Battalion building road in Tutin



Members of the 210th Engineering Battalion of the Second Brigade of the Army section are constructing a 12 km-long section of the road Madjare - Paljevo - Orlje, in the municipality of Tutin,. Investors are the Office for the Development of Underdeveloped Areas of the Republic of Serbia and Tutin municipality, while the total cost of repair and reconstruction of road communication to preasphalt stage is 10.5 million RSD.

Officers and soldiers of the Second Brigade, under the command of Colonel Milic Stanic, were visited on the route by the Second Brigade Chief of Staff Colonel Muharem Fazlic who on that occasion emphasized that the Serbian Army with this endeavor continues the tradition of helping people. Colonel Fazlic praised the work of engineering unit in the field and noted that the Chief of the Army of Serbia, the Serbian Army on the occasion, commended the 210th Engineering Battalion for their great commitment in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters and snowfall.

According to the commander of the working group on the field sergeant Dragan Pavlovic, the members of the Kraljevo based engineering unit started the work on the section Madjare- Paljevo – Orlje 23 days ago. They have already completed three and a half kilometers of the road excavating nine thousand cubic meters of earth while breaking extension of the road and canal construction. It is a great job and sergeant Pavlovic predicts that, if the weather conditions were favourable, the works will last for another 30 working days. After that, of course, they will be off to the next site but they will feel pride for completing another construction work.

Residents of the village of Pale in Tutin County were pleased to see that work on renovated section of the road will enable a better life for eighty households in this area.
