Military Museum gets a medal for participating in the “Battle for Babies” campaign



On the occasion of the participation of the Military Museum in Action of B92 Fund "The battle for babies" today at an event organized at the Cultural Center "Rex”, the representative of the Military Museum, Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Mijatovic was presented a decoration . Awards were given to everyone who contributed to the successful acquisition of an incubator for maternity wards in Serbia.

Thanks to the Military Museum, one of the oldest brands of incubators, "Dreger 6000," which has for 38 years been part of the Belgrade Institute for neonatalogy, was placed in front of the main entrance of the institution as a symbol of victory in the "Battle of the baby" and thus was replaced with latest incubators.

The campaign "Battle for babies," was began a year ago when the television news operations broadcasted on B92 a story about incubators at the Belgrade Institute for neonatalogy, with some of them being even up to 40 years old.

The campaign organized after that was to equip health centers nationwide with hundreds of new incubators. Thanks to the good response of many donors, among whom was the Military Museum in Kalemegdan, the goal is achieved after only three months and to date has managed to procure two hundred incubators.
