Collection of texts of generals and admirals of Serbia presented
On the occasion of the 9th May, Victory Day in the Central Military Club a book - Biographical Dictionary "Generals and admirals of Serbia 1981 - 2011", published by the Club of Generals and Admirals was presented. Many club members, their families and friends spoke about the book historian including Dr. Mile Bjelajac and retired Lieutenant General Zlatoje Terzic, Chairman of the Editorial Board, Dr. Radovan Tomanovic, editor in chief and Stojimiroviv Ljubisa, President of the Association of Admirals and generals of Serbia.In an elite Serbian military journal of sorts there are published biographies of 502 active and retired generals and admirals, born between1923 and 1969. Their biographies and life stories are a valuable guideline for younger generations of officers and boys and girls who are thinking about their future profession. Undoubtedly, the editors say, that the book Generals and Admirals Serbia 1981 - 2011 is a recognition of the state and society to people who in late 20 and early 21st century, in an extremely difficult period for the Serbian people, stood at the forefront of defense of four countries - SFRY, SR Yugoslavia, Montenegro and Serbia, and Serbia.
