Cooperation in the field of logistics



According to the plan of bilateral military cooperation with the Czech Republic for 2012, the team of the Combined Logistics Coordination Center of the Czech Army is attending a seminar in the field of logistics n the Material Resources Sector.

The main objectives of the seminar are reviewing the concept of organization and planning of the logistical support of the Czech Army while getting acquainted with the activities of a Combined Logistics Coordination Centre, with an emphasis on preparing logistical exercise in Slovakia "A capable logistics 2013".

The Czech company AURA will present opportunities and its experience in logistics in the field of development and use of logistics information systems during the seminar.

As part of the visit both delegation held a meeting, the Serbian delegation led by Major General Dr. Danko Jovanovic, Head of Logistics Department in GS (J-4) and Brigadier General Dr Srdjan Novakovic, Chief of the General Logistic Department in the Sector for Material Resources while the delegation of the Czech Republic, led by Brigadier General Vladimir Halenka, Director of General Logistics of the Czech Army, and Col. Miroslav Pelikan, director of the Combined Logistics Coordination Center. The meeting was attended by the Czech defense attaché in Serbia, Col. Kurtoshi Lorant. The meeting was about our country’s joining the Combined Logistics Coordination Center, forms of engagement and future cooperation in the field of logistics.
