Major Dragan Mladenovic wins the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce award



Member of the Serbian Army, Major Dragan Mladenovic, at a ceremony at the Belgrade Theatre "Studio 212", was presented with the award of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce for the best master's thesis on "International aspects of cyber warfare."

Major Mladenovic is one of the winners of the annual award of the institution which is awarded for the best doctoral dissertation and master's theses and, and this year new awards for best technical improvements and design solutions were included. Award-winning thesis was defended by major Mladenovic from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, for the school year 2010/2011.

"It is a great honor to receive this award, especially because I have worked on the entire work, as a fellow ship holder of the Ministry of Defense, with great love," said Major Mladenovic. Major Mladenovic has worked on the topic of cyber warfare for than five years, with an intention to expand knowledge in this area expand and improve during his PhDstudies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. According to his words Computing and information technology have significantly changed the way of communication.

"In the master thesis I worked on, I directed the research in two directions - to determine what cyber warfare was, and to determine its characteristics in order to enable the state to defend itself," said Mladenovic essence of his research.

The Belgrade Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Award for the best doctoral thesis, master thesis, diploma theses traditionally has been awarded since 1968, in order to better connect the economy and science and thus promote inventors, and innovative design solutions that can be applied in the economy.

The ceremony at the "Atelje 212", besides the representatives of Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, president of the institution Dr. Milan Jankovic, was also attended by guests from the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the republic ministries, international diplomatic guests, and many scientists and businessmen from Serbia and the region.
