Donation to the Self Access English Learning Center
DAs from the United States, the Kingdom of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Great Britain and the director of the British Council in Belgrade visited the Self Access English Language Learning Center of the Training and Doctrine Command General Staff in Belgrade.
During his visit, Defence Attaché of the United States Colonel Paul Brocken representatives presented the books, journals, magazines and newspapers in English to the Self Access center. The donated materials will be used for professional preparation of teachers of English in the process of adopting new teaching methods.The Self-Access English Learning Centre is a multimedia cabinet with computer, digital video and audio equipment, the latest software for learning English, library books, and constant internet connection which enables visiting websites specifically designed for teaching general and military English.
In the forthcoming period, the modernization of the Self Access Center for learning English is planned. The use of modern technologies and software platforms will provide efficiency and exchange of teaching and learning materials and test inter-communication of 14 such centers in the SAF garrisons.
