MoD delegation visits the Traffic Secretariat
Members of the Traffic Services Unit and the institution of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army garrison in the Belgrade visited the Secretariat of Transport of the City Administration of Belgrade.
Assistant Secretary for technical regulation of traffic, Engineer Slobodan Lezaid and his co-workers, acquainted the representatives of MoD and SAF with the role of the Secretariat in the overall transportation system, organizational structure, responsibilities and tasks, as well as security and problems of regulating traffic in Belgrade.The representatives of MoD and SAF visited the Traffic Management Center which is the technical coordinator for the regulation of traffic graduate engineer Cedomir Vukasinovic acquainted them with systems for traffic control.
At the end of the visit the head of the Department of Transport and transport, Col. Zeljko Rankovic, PhD in engineering, thanked for the reception emphasizing the good cooperation of the Ministry of Defence and the Secretariat of Transportation. He expressed the hope that such cooperation would continue in the future.
The professional visit to the Secretariat of Transportation has been organized by the Department of Transport and General Logistics Department for Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence.
