SAF helps citizens
One hundred members of the Guard and Training Command were engaged yesterday on cleaning the snow from the streets of Belgrade. The SAF Guards was engaged on clearing the routes of Uzicka Street- Teodora Drajzera – Neznanog junaka- Crnotravska – Kraljice Ane- Mihaila Avramovics – Bulvear Kralja Aleksandra and Knez Milos Bircanin - Resavska - Nemanjina, and about the Army. Members of the Battalion Command Training Command were deployed to clear the snow around the MMA.
Third Brigade of the Army today in the morning was involved the removal of snow in Nis. The Members of this brigade, with three engineering machines, cleared snow from the vicinity of the City Hospital and Nis boulevard leading to Niska Banja.In Prokuplje, the members of the 310th Engineering Battalion were engaged with one engineering machine in cleaning the road leading from Beli kamen to Zitni potok and the village Dubova.
Two more engineering machines of the third brigade were sent to the municipalities of Kursumlija and Blace, as these machines are suitable for working in urban areas.
For four days members of the 3 Brigade have been cleaning the snow from the unregistered roads towards villages and hamlets in the municipality of Babusnica. So far 9 kilometers of roads in Kambelevci and Nasuskovica hamlets have been cleared.Members of this brigade were previously engaged in clearing snow in the municipality of Crna trava, where they cleared about 37 kilometers of roads.
Members of the Training Center of the Army from Pozarevac have been engaged in clearing snowdrifts from the roads in the municipality of Ivanjica since 28 January. Two dozers, one in Kusici village, and the other in the village of Bratljevo have cleared about 30 kilometers of road. The members are also clearing the snow around the city hospital, "Dulic Voja" in Pozarevac.
