Eight members of the Serbian Armed Forces were injured in a severe car accident that has occurred this morning around 07:05 on the road Vranje - Skopje at the entrance of Bujanovac. The injured are professional soldiers Marko Stankovic, Dejan Stojanovic, Sasa Markovic, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Ivan Jovanovic, Danilo Milenkovic, Ivan Stamenkovic and Nikola Mladenovic, all from the 41st Infantry Battalion of the 4th Army Brigade.

The participants in the accident were a van with Leskovac license plates with the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and a passenger car type Mercedes with Bujanovac license plates.

Four of the injured members of the Serbian Armed Forces with severe injuries of the head and spine were transferred to the Nis Military Hospital, two were treated in the Vranje Clinical Center, and two in a garrison clinic in Vranje.

The investigation into the causes of the accident is underway.
