Sub-Echelon of Artillery Units
The sub-echelon of artillery units consists of 128mm M-17 and M-18 self-propelled multiple rocket systems, UPARS Universal Mobile Artillery Computing Station, a command reconnaissance vehicle, 155mm “NORA–B52 M15” self-propelled howitzer, "КОТ КB М21 V1" command armoured personnel carrier, and 122mm 1S1M self-propelled howitzer.
The sub-echelon is headed by Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandar Cvetković.
The 128 mm M-18 is a modular self-propelled multiple rocket system, fitted on the FAP 2234 6x6 chassis with an armoured cabin, equipped with a new electronics suite and capable of launching rockets from modular containers. It can fire both unguided and guided missiles of various calibres. The system can carry between 2 and 8 launch containers. A 12.7 mm machine gun is mounted on the vehicle's cabin.
The Universal Mobile Artillery Computing Station “UPARS“ is designed for the automatic processing and transmission of data required for conducting artillery fire missions. The crew consists of five soldiers.
The 128 mm M-17 Self-Propelled Multiple Rocket Launcher is designed to provide primary fire support to brigade-level units. It is a modernized version of the 128 mm M77 "Oganj" launcher, featuring an automated targeting system and navigation through the integration of an Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) devices. The installation of a modern telecommunications and information subsystem enables integrated operation with the Universal Mobile Artillery Computing Station (UPARS). Additionally, the installation of a new tarpaulin cover and smoke boxes has enhanced the system’s protection and camouflage.
The Command and Reconnaissance Vehicle is intended for use by the battery commander for transporting reconnaissance personnel and equipment, maintaining communication between the observation post and the firing position, and managing fire control. The vehicle is operated by a crew of seven soldiers. It is armed with a remotely controlled weapon station (RCWS) equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun and a 40 mm grenade launcher.
The 155 mm NORA-B52 M15 self-propelled howitzer is a mobile artillery weapon designed to provide fire support to friendly units. It delivers fire support through powerful, sudden, and rapid strikes on targets of tactical, operational, and strategic importance at long distances.
The crew consists of five soldiers. It is armed with a 12.7 mm M87 machine gun and smoke grenade launchers. The maximum firing range is 41 km.

The КОТ КB М21 V1 i is an armoured command personnel carrier designed for fire control and management of an artillery battery. It is deployed at the observation post in a position that enables effective fire coordination on targets, as well as at the battery’s firing position to allow optimal control of the battery’s fire component. It is equipped with a Universal Mobile Artillery Observation Station, which is used for observing, collecting, and processing target data.
The 122 mm 1S1M self-propelled howitzer is designed for destroying and neutralizing enemy personnel in the open and in field-type cover, enemy fire means, demolishing strongpoints, wire and other obstacles, creating passages in minefields, and destroying and neutralizing enemy artillery and motor-technical equipment/systems.
