Second Sub-Echelon of Air Defence Artillery Missile Units



The sub-echelon includes the modernized KUB-M2 (SM) air defence missile system.

The sub-echelon is led by Major Miloš Ranđelović.

 
2K12 "KUB-M2(SM)" 
The 2K12 "KUB-M2(SM)" air defence missile system is intended for the air defence of key administrative, political, and economic facilities, Serbian Armed Forces units, as well as designated areas and routes within the territory, against aerial reconnaissance and air attacks.

The "KUB-M2(SM)" missile system is capable of engaging targets such as aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles flying at speeds of up to 600 m/s, at altitudes up to 14 km and at distances of up to 24 km. The system is characterized by high mobility.

It has undergone partial modernization, which has improved its tactical and technical characteristics. These enhancements contribute to the automation of the command process, enhanced target detection and acquisition, and improved electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM).
