Reconnaissance Units Sub-Echelon
The reconnaissance units sub-echelon includes Armored Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle BRDM-2MS and multi-purpose all-terrain vehicles with high cross-country ability HAMMER with MIP-3.
ACRV BRDM-2MS

The ACRV BRDM-2MS is intended for reconnaissance in all combat operations both from land and water, day and night. It is served by a crew of five, with one additional member being added if necessary. The ACRV BRDM-2MS can also be used to secure its own units, combat enemy security and reconnaissance units, transport couriers and signal officers, as a means of communication, a command vehicle, and attack enemy airborne forces.
HMMWV M1151 with MIP 3

The HMMWV M1151 with MIP 3 is a vehicle equipped with a multi-sensor reconnaissance platform mounted on a telescopic mast mounted on the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle is intended to be a self-propelled observation and reconnaissance system for the purpose of collecting intelligence and geo-locating moving and stationary targets of interest in day, night and low-visibility conditions. The vehicle is armed with a remotely controlled combat station with a 12.7 mm machine gun.
