Sub-Echelon of Anti-Armour Units

The sub-echelon of anti-armour units consists of BOV KIV armored combat vehicles, M-83 anti-tank missile systems and Humvee multirole all-terrain vehicles with the KORNET anti-tank missile system.

The sub-echelon is headed by Major Rade Gojković.

Improved Armored Combat Vehicle (BOV POLO М-83)

The improved BOV POLO M-83 is equipped with a multi-sensor optoelectronic system that allows targeting even in night conditions. It consists of a thermal imaging camera, a video camera, a laser rangefinder and a ruggedized tablet computer. The implementation of high-performance sensors, as well as specially designed data display software, allow the crew to use this system for observation purposes. Also, this system allows greater flexibility in choosing a separate operator station up to 80 m and the work of the operator/gunner, as it eliminates the need for optical visibility of the target.

The improved BOV POLO M-83 is equipped with 4 disposable unmanned aerial vehicles with a warhead. The existing "Osica" has been partially modified to allow the unmanned aerial vehicle to be launched from a launch container. The launch container works on the principle of a pneumatic system and is a means that can be easily integrated into similar combat vehicles.

The loitering munitions system "Osica" is an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle intended for action against enemy forces. It is an economical high-precision lethal weapon with the ability to destroy armored vehicles. The system is equipped with a cumulative warhead from the Osa anti-tank system. With a fixed compact full-HD camera and video processor, it provides the ability to search, detect targets (detection based on the use of artificial intelligence techniques) and fully autonomous attack on a target based on a video tracking system.

Improved HMMWV M1151

The improved anti-tank HMMWV M1151 is equipped with the Kornet EM missile system. The vehicle is intended for anti-tank combat and sabotage operations at distances from 150 m to 8 km, in all weather conditions, day and night, against stationary and moving targets moving at speeds up to 70 km/h, when the target is visible with an optical or thermal imaging sight. The vehicle contains 2 launchers, 4 missiles, as well as a thermal imaging sight. The secondary armament is a 7.62 mm machine gun mounted on the vehicle's turret.
