Sub-Echelon of Military Police Units
The sub-echelon of Military Police units includes M-86 and LENCO BEARCAT military police combat vehicles.
The sub-echelon is headed by Major Miloš Stojanović
Military Police Combat Vehicle (VPB М86)
The M86 is intended for performing military police tasks in conditions of application of conventional combat means on different terrain and in different weather conditions. It serves to protect military and other important facilities and institutions, prevent demonstrative threats to public order and security of the Serbian Armed Forces and citizens, to combat sabotage, terrorist and other groups, to evacuate people and material and technical means. It is armed with a 7.62 mm machine gun, and six smoke box launchers are installed on the sides.
LENCO BEARCAT
The LENCO BEARCAT is a military police vehicle that is characterized by high cross-country ability and ballistic protection, the ability to perform blockades and safe access to blocked objects. The vehicle can also be used to provide assistance to civilian structures due to natural disasters, as well as to evacuate the injured and sick. The crew consists of 10 to 12 members. The vehicle's rotating turret can be equipped with several types of weapons.
