Sub-Echelon of ASEWG Units
The sub-echelon of Military Police units includes the CVOJ M11 mobile system, modern GM-400 and GM-200 radars, three-dimensional AN/TPS-70 radar and the modernized M-85M "Giraffe" radar.
The sub-echelon is headed by Major Nemanja Ranković.
The CVOJ M11 is a specially designed cabin on the FAP-1118 all-terrain vehicle. It represents a hardware-software system intended for automatic digital processing of the analog video signal of the surveillance radar, distribution and display of radar data at an ASEWG company (radar station), as well as for forwarding radar data to communication equipment through which this data is sent to the ASEWG operations centre.
The GM-400 radar is a three-dimensional, multi-purpose, mobile, long-range radar designed to detect and track all types of targets in the airspace independently or as part of an air defence system. It detects targets in the airspace up to 515 km away and up to 30 km high. The radar system is characterized by high mobility and frequency agility. It has the ability to automatically identify faults, as well as automatically transmit data to the ASEWG operations centre.
The GM-200 radar is a three-dimensional, multi-purpose, tactical, mobile medium-range radar designed to detect and track all types of targets in the airspace independently or as part of an air defence system. It detects targets in the airspace at distances of up to 250 km and altitudes of up to 25 km. The radar system is characterized by high mobility and frequency agility. It has the ability to automatically identify faults, as well as automatically transmit data to the ASEWG operations centre.
The AN/TPS-70 3D radar is intended for the detection and tracking of all types of targets in the airspace independently or as part of an air defence system. The radar system is characterized by high mobility and frequency agility. It detects targets in the airspace up to 450 km away and up to 30 km high. It has the ability to automatically identify faults, as well as to automatically transmit data to the ASEWG operations centre.
The M-85M "Giraffe" is a pulse-doppler radar designed for the detection and automatic tracking of low-flying targets, as well as for the delivery of data to PASARS fire units, using digital radio devices. The automatic hydraulic vehicle levelling system and the applied modern digital radar signal processing techniques enable high manoeuvrability, mobility and short response time.
The radar has a maximum horizontal range of 40 km and a vertical range of up to 10 km. It can simultaneously track up to 20 targets and transmit data in real time to six fire units.
