3rd Army Brigade Sub-Echelon

The Third Army Brigade (3rd Army Bde) is intended to carry out missions and tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces through the development and improvement of operational capabilities and achieving the necessary availability of forces for conducting operations and providing assistance to civil authorities during natural disasters, technical-technological and other accidents.
The Third Army Brigade consists of a command and 11 battalion/division-level units - infantry, armoured-mechanized, artillery and air defence artillery-missile units, engineering and logistics units.
The command of the 3rd Army Bde is located in Niš, and October 7 is marked as the unit's day, in memory of the day when 108 years ago the "Iron Regiment" set off on a war of liberation in the First Balkan War. In the First and Second Balkan Wars, it participated in all the famous battles, Kumanovo, Prilep, Bitola and Bregalnica, and in the First World War in the famous Cer and Kolubara battles and in the operations for the liberation of Serbia.
The brigade is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Miloš Milošević.
The brigade flag is carried by Captain Lazar Pavlović.
Members of the 3rd Army Brigade sub-echelon are equipped with KZBO T-19 ballistic protective equipment sets and are armed with modular PM 6.5/7.62 mm M-19 rifles and 9 mm EZ 9 pistols of domestic production.
