Mixed Artillery Brigade Sub-Echelon
The Mixed Artillery Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces (MABR) is intended to carry out missions and tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces through the development and improvement of operational and functional capabilities and achieving the necessary availability of forces to provide artillery and missile support to units during the conduct of land army operations and to provide assistance to civil authorities in the event of natural disasters, technical and technological and other accidents.
The Mixed Artillery Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces consists of a command and six division-level units - artillery and logistics battalions.
The MABR command is located in Niš, and September 14 is marked as the unit's day in memory of the beginning of artillery preparation for the attack on the breakthrough section of the Serbian Army units on the Thessaloniki Front.
The brigade is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Predrag Radunović.
The brigade flag is carried by Second Lieutenant Veljko Grabović.
Members of the MABR sub-echelon are equipped with T-19P ballistic protective equipment sets and armed with modular PM 6.5/7.62 mm M-19 rifles and domestically produced 9 mm EZ 9 pistols.
