Training Command First Sub-Echelon
The Training Command is responsible for planning and organizing individual training and for the development of the Territorial Forces. In addition, it carries out missions and tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces by developing and enhancing operational capabilities and achieving the required force readiness for conducting operations and providing assistance to civil authorities during natural disasters, technological, and other accidents.
It consists of the Command and 16 units at the brigade, battalion/division level. It was formed on April 23, 2007, as a joint command at the operational level.
The Training Command is located in Belgrade, and the unit's day is celebrated on January 15 in memory of the adoption of the Law on the Organization of the Military, which for the first time defined the principles of recruitment and training of soldiers performing their mandatory military service.
The first sub-echelon of the Training Command is commanded by Colonel Predrag Mitrović.
The flag of the Training Command is carried by Lieutenant Bratislav Jovanović.
Members of the sub-echelon of the Training Command are equipped with T-19P ballistic protective gear sets and armed with AP 7.62 mm M-70 DMU assault rifles with reflex sights (RS-C) and 9 mm EZ 9 pistols of domestic production.
