Minister Vučević, General Mojsilović visit injured member of 72nd Special Operations Brigade at MMA



Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović visited today the injured member of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, Staff Sergeant Branko Vojvodić, who was admitted to the Military Medical Academy after suffering serious injuries while performing water landing into the Danube-Tisza-Danube Canal from a helicopter at the Orešac Military Complex.
Staff Sergeant Vojvodić was also visited by the commander of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, Brigadier General Miroslav Talijan.

Colonel Asst. Prof. Ivo Udovičić, head of the Critical Care Department of the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, MMA, informed the minister of defence and the chief of the General Staff about the patient’s health status.
Upon admission to the MMA, Staff Sergeant Vojvodić underwent an emergency surgery. Although the post-surgery recovery is running smoothly, his health condition is still serious, he is at the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Critical Care with a group of medical specialists taking care of his recovery.

Among the visitors were also Head of the Military Health Department Brig. Gen. Radivoje Anđelković, MD, and Deputy Head of the Military Medical Academy Brig. Gen. Prof. Dragan Dinčić, MD.
