Minister Vučević, General Mojsilović visit family of member of 72nd Special Operations Brigade who tragically died



Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović went to Stara Pazova today to pay a visit and express their condolences to the family of Master Sergeant Mijodrag Tošković, member of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade who died in a tragic accident.

Nothing can compensate for the loss of a husband and father, and the Serbian Armed Forces have lost a brave and experienced member, who performed all his tasks conscientiously and responsibly, said Minister Vučević and General Mojsilović on that occasion.

The leading officers of the defence system told the family that the tragic death of Master Sergeant Tošković had brought deep sadness to his colleagues, adding that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces would always be there for the Tošković family.  

The president of the municipality of Stara Pazova, Đorđe Radinović, also expressed his condolences to the family.

Earlier today, the Chief of the General Staff visited the Orešac Military Complex and the location on the Danube-Tisza-Danube Canal where Master Sergeant Tošković had died and spoke with members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the Gendarmerie.

Master Sergeant Mijodrag Tošković was born in 1980 in Cetinje. His professional military career in the Serbian Armed Forces started in 2000. He received multiple decorations and awards for outstanding professional achievements. He was a married father of three children.
