Applications for NCO Course now open for civilians

The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces have launched an open competition for civilians who wish to apply for the Non-Commissioned Officer Course and be subsequently admitted to professional military service as full-time non-commissioned officers.
Prospective candidates have the opportunity to apply for one of the 200 available non-commissioned officer jobs at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.

Applications are open for citizens of the Republic of Serbia between the ages of 18 and 35, who are medically, physically and psychologically fit, and who are either currently in their senior year at a four-year high school, or have graduated from high school. Candidates who have not done military service under arms can also apply for the competition.
The selected candidates will be sent on a nine-month training course that will take place at the NCO Training and Development Centre "Sergeant Milunka Savić" in Pančevo, the Training Command’s specialized training centres and the Serbian Armed Forces units. Upon successful completion of the course, they will be eligible for admission to professional military service and promotion to the rank of sergeant.
