Minister Vučević visits 2nd Army Brigade



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević visited members of the Second Army Brigade in the “Ribnica” barracks in Kraljevo today.
During the meeting with the minister of defence, the Commander of the Second Army Brigade, Brig. Gen. Siniša Stašević, informed him about the tasks that have been completed and the plans for the coming period.

Minister Vučević was shown some of the newly acquired materiel, such as the light four-wheelers - quads, high mobility Hummer vehicles fitted with a machine gun, combat equipment used by reconnaissance units, small arms and transport vehicles.
  Minister Vučević expressed his delight at the fact that the Second Army Brigade is being equipped, as well as other units of the Serbian Armed Forces, with modern weapons and military equipment. According to him, our military is getting stronger by the day and is ready to respond to all potential security threats to our homeland and citizens.
The minister also attended the reception of two ambulances donated to the Second Army Brigade by the Serbian Defence Industry Group, with the aim of improving patient transportation in Kraljevo, Raška, Novi Pazar and other places in that part of Serbia, and providing patients with even better health care.
 
During the visit, Minister Vučević paid a call to the traffic service training battalion of the Logistics Training Centre, where he watched a segment of the battalion’s training.
  Minister Vučević was accompanied on today’s tour of the Second Army Brigade by the Head of Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Žarko Mićin, Head of Office of the Minister of Defence, Brigadier General Goran Momčilović, Head of the Military Health Department, Brigadier General Radivoje Anđelković, MD, Chief of Staff of the Army Command, Brigadier General Zoran Dragićević, Head of the Defence Technologies Department of the Material Resources Sector, Brigadier General Slavko Rakić and representatives of the defence industry factories.
