Training begins for new class of soldiers
Training for soldiers whose military service started early this month, began today at the Training Command Centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
Over the last few days, they have gone through the process of adaptation, learned the basic rules of living and working in the Serbian Armed Forces and are ready for a period of intensive training.They will spend the next month and a half at the Basic Training Centres, learning how to use personal weapons and equipment and how to carry out basic tactical actions and procedures in combat, simultaneously building up their physical fitness.
What awaits them next is individual specialized training for branch/service-specific duties, followed by the second part of their military service that they will spend in SAF units undergoing collective training.
During their military service, soldiers can apply for professional military service, so that they can go through the admission procedure in time and meet the requirements for joining the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after they complete their military service.
