Minister Vučević and U.S. Ambassador Hill visit exhibition in Novi Sad



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and the Ambassador of the United States to Serbia Christopher Hill visited the exhibition “U.S. Medical Mission in Serbia and the Serbian Army during the Great War 1914-1918” at the Historical Archive of the City of Novi Sad today.  
They were accompanied by the Mayor of Novi Sad, Milan Đurić.

The Historical Archive director, Petar Đurđev, gave Minister Vučević and Ambassador Hill a guided tour of the exhibition telling them about the role and importance of the U.S. medical missions and the Serbian Medical Corps in the Great War.
The authors of the exhibition are historians Nada Petrović and Milan Tlačinac.

The exhibition has been co-organized by the Association of War Volunteers 1912-1918, their descendants and admirers and the Historical Archive of the City of Novi Sad, with the support of the Ministry of Defence.

The exhibition “U.S. Medical Mission in Serbia and the Serbian Army during the Great War-1918” will be open at the Historical Archive of the City of Novi Sad until May 31, 2023.
Today, Minister Vučević and Ambassador Hill visited another exhibition at the Historical Archive - “Military Caps and Helmets from Mid-19th Century until the Present” by Zoran Veljanović and Dejan Kragić, a collector from Novi Sad. The exhibition dedicated to a period in military history and tradition comprises dozens of museum artefacts chronologically arranged by period, country and branches of service.
