Training Command’s Special Response Unit undergoes evaluation

This Training Command’s unit, whose role is to respond to situations when facilities are under threat, has conducted a live-fire tactical exercise at the "Peskovi" training ground near Požarevac.

The aim of the exercise was to test the unit’s tactical and firearms skills in case of an attack on a detached military facility.
First, the unit members conducted a loaded march, following which they carried out different tasks at the tactical training ground and performed live firing using infantry weapons.

They fired automatic and sniper rifles, as well as light machine-guns and man-portable missile launchers. The successful execution of firing and the tactical skills demonstrated indicate that the special response unit is ready to respond quickly and efficiently, if required, to any threat to military property and facilities.
Live-fire tactical exercises are an important form of practical training in the Serbian Armed Forces. These exercises expose units to real-world combat scenarios designed for them to demonstrate their ability to apply standard procedures they have learned in training. Exercises like this increase the capability of commands and units for performing missions and tasks assigned to them.
