SAF Air Force conducts live fire

As part of their regular combat training, SAF Air Force units have conducted live fire against surface targets in the area of the “Pasuljanske Livade” training ground.
This final segment of the training cycle was successfully conducted by the flying personnel of the 98th Air Brigade, thus improving the unit’s ability to provide air support to Army troops.
During the daytime and at night, the "Eagle", "H-145M", "Mi-35", "Mi-8" and "Gama" crews engaged surface targets simulating armoured units and pinpoint targets in enemy dispositions. They used guided missiles, unguided shells and guns, successfully neutralizing the targets and demonstrating excellent tactical and firing skills.
The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, who attended today’s activity accompanied by the Air Force and Air Defence Commander, witnessed a well-planned and successfully conducted training whose objectives were completely fulfilled.
According to General Mojsilović, the success of the training can also be credited to the Brigades' aircraft technicians, who are responsible for making sure that the aircraft are fully operational and armed. He commended the flying crews for the accuracy and excellent skills they had demonstrated and announced new investments in the SAF Air Force.
