Engineer Training in First Army Brigade
Training and exercise areas of the Serbian Armed Forces are the venues of a collective training for the execution of multipurpose tasks of engineer service that is being carried out for members of the First Army Brigade.
The training is held for the professional staff of the Engineer Battalion of this Brigade with the purpose of maintaining a high level of competence in executing engineer and counter-engineer activities in Army operations.During the field training, the soldiers and commanding officers are faced with numerous tasks that are performed by engineer units in operations, such as making barriers, overcoming mine obstacles, maintaining ground clearance of road communications, and making fortifications. Soldiers doing voluntary military service of “September 2022” intake are actively involved in the training process, having in mind that they previously underwent their individual training for assigned specialities of engineer branch.
Continuous training conducted by soldiers and commanding officers of engineer branch, that is held in cycles throughout the year, ensures the required level of competence and readiness of engineer units to execute their assigned tasks in all three missions of the Serbian Armed Forces.
