Cadet training in Technical Overhaul Institute “Čačak“
Special forms of training for the 143rd class of Military Academy cadets attending the military mechanical engineering study program is in progress in the Technical Overhaul Institute "Čačak".
During this work experience program cadets acquire practical knowledge of how to construct and exploit Army weapons and motor vehicles necessary to perform initial roles that technical service officers occupy in SAF units and institutions.Using a thematic approach, the cadets were acquainted with the Institute’s mission and tasks, the organization of the technological process and the facilities used for maintenance, revision, modification and partial repair of combat equipment and motor vehicles. In this SAF unit, they will have the opportunity to learn about work processes for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment, and to get acquainted with the management of construction and technical documentation that accompanies the technological process.
Special forms of training that are conducted in units and institutions of the Serbian Armed Forces are a mandatory part of cadet education in the final two years of studying, during which they upgrade the knowledge acquired at the Military Academy and gain experience that will help them prepare for initial officer roles.
