Training of Future Air Force and Air Defence NCOs in 126th ASWEG Brigade



Units of 126th Air Surveillance, Early Warning and Guidance (ASEWG) Brigade are conducting training for attenders of the Course for Air Force and Air Defence non-commissioned officers in the execution of surveillance and air space control tasks.

The training is actually the final module, during which the future NCOs are trained to autonomously perform initial NCO duties in the units for air surveillance, early warning and guidance, where they will be assigned after the completion of the course to discharge duties of radar technicians, data presentation operators and identification operators.
 
In this module, which the attenders of the course attend in different Air Force and Air Defence units, they are undergoing practical training in the use and maintenance of radar-computer assets and automation systems, and they are practicing the tactics, techniques and procedures applied during the execution of tasks of gathering, processing and distributing the data gathered by radar surveillance.
The Course for Air Force and Air Defence NCOs lasts for six months and encompasses two basic, one specialist and an internship module. The candidates who successfully complete all modules are to be promoted to the rank of sergeant and be admitted into the ranks of professional members of the Air Force and Air Defence.
