Chief of General Staff visits tank units at Orešac training ground



Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited today members of the Second Army Brigade’s tank battalion, who are conducting training at the “Orešac” training ground.  

During the visit, Chief of the General Staff observed M-84 crews doing training and firing practice, making sure that the tankers’ level of competence for carrying out fire missions was high. 
In order to practice and prepare for live fire drills that he is planning to take part in  in the coming period, General Mojsilović did firing practice together with members of  the tank battalion.  

Tank crews’ training at the “Orešac” automated firing range, where armoured units perform preliminary firings and range practice, is preparation for live fire drills and tactical exercises that this unit will carry out this year.  
After successful execution of firing practices, General Mojsilović praised the battalion members’ motivation and commitment in carrying out their daily tasks and training, and expressed his expectation that they would continue to do so in the future, in order for this unit to preserve and improve its ability to perform all assigned tasks.

On this occasion, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, promoted the tank commander, Sergeant Ivan Zečević, to the rank of sergeant first class, for demonstrating great commitment during the combat training and for exceptional work results.
