Minister Vulin: Military discipline at the Belgrade Fair

- There is military discipline at the Belgrade Fair. Patients get up between 6 a.m. and 6.30 a.m, they go to bed at 10 p.m. and every hour is carefully planned. There are about 3,000 beds at the Fair and imagine what it would be like if everyone could start and finish their day whenever they thought suitable. That is not possible and in such conditions a proper organization has to be made and that is why the armed forces are there, because they have the most experience with such a lifestyle and as you can see, it works. The military all around the world do the same – the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin said today in the "Novo jutro" show on TV Pink channel, adding that about 30 patients are now accommodated in the temporary hospital at the Fair due to mild symptoms of Covid-19, so that they do not infect their families and their friends.

Minister Vulin says that there are nine infected soldiers in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, who got infected while working with the citizens in the north of the country, controlling the crossing of the border.

- They feel well and are recovering successfully and we believe in their fast and successful recovery. There are 642 soldiers in isolation due to their being in various kinds of contact with the infected. They feel well and their condition is being monitored - said Minister Vulin.

The Minister of Defence once again appealed to all citizens to follow the instructions, to listen to what the doctors say and to stay at home, for their own sake and the sake of their families.

Asked to comment on the situation in the Serbian Armed Forces, given the large number of tasks they are engaged in during the state of emergency, Minister Vulin pointed out that life in the armed forces goes according to plan and in an organized way.

- All members of the armed forces are working in accordance with the plan of their engagement, all facilities within the jurisdiction of the Serbian Armed Forces are secured, and there were no incidents during the night - Minister Vulin emphasized.

Minister Vulin emphasized that the Serbian Armed Forces have sufficient resources, manpower and equipment to respond to every order of its Supreme Commander and the Crisis Staff in these times.
